Ilia Filatov - visual artist

Ilia Filatov born on April 5, 1992, in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Khabarovsk Krai, Russia.

Since 2011, he has lived and worked in Saint Petersburg.

The artist works primarily in the medium of oil painting. His vivid, sensuous works explore themes of intimacy, freedom, and inner searching. Through saturated color and a cinematic approach, the artist conveys a multilayered emotional environment in which the viewer may find a personal reflection — an atmosphere permeated by moments of romance, closeness, or states of solitude.

The artist’s works are held in private collections in Russia, France, the United States, and Israel.

Solo and group exhibitions were held in Moscow and St.Petersburg.
